ALF Voices: Tyler MacEachran
We’re thrilled to welcome ALF’s newest member to the team! Tyler MacEachran joined ALF as the Director of Development and Communications in April 2025. He will be heading up the development team and overseeing partnerships and constituent communications.
With a dynamic career spanning over two decades, Tyler MacEachran is a seasoned fundraising and non-profit leadership professional. Known for a decisive and action-oriented approach, Tyler has consistently driven growth across a variety of organizations. Highlights include establishing a new national non-profit for Alzheimer’s Caregivers (and successfully securing a $1.28 million grant); as well as increasing United Way for Southeast Michigan’s annual campaign by $5 million in consecutive years during the pandemic.
Tyler shared:
“I’m thrilled to join the Abundant Life Foundation (ALF) in a role that feels like the perfect intersection of passion, purpose, and possibility.
From the moment I first learned about ALF, I was drawn to its deeply rooted commitment to empowering families and transforming communities. With a 15+ year legacy of service, ALF is not just building homes—it’s building hope, dignity, and opportunity
What excites me most about this role is the chance to help amplify that impact. I get to build relationships with donors, churches, civic groups, and foundations who want to be part of something meaningful—something lasting. Every conversation, every donor experience, and every dollar raised becomes part of a much bigger story: one where families live in safe homes, children dream bigger, and everyday heroes rise up to shape their future.
As Development Director, I look forward to connecting others to this incredible mission—to invite them into a journey that brings tangible change and reflects the heart of service. Whether it’s through sponsoring a home, organizing a mission team, or simply spreading the word, there is a role for everyone in the transformative work ALF is doing in Roatán.
I’m honored to be part of this story—and even more excited to help engage others in writing the next chapter.”
When not working, Tyler enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Melissa, his four children and two dogs, as well as volunteering and worshiping with his church community, going to the beach or the mountains, reading, and expanding the gardens around his home.
