Restoring a Sense of Community
The island of Roatán has undergone tremendous cultural and societal changes over the past two decades. Many formerly thriving communities have lost the essence that made them strong and vibrant. At the same time, many islanders sold their land to developers and now lack the space and ability to own their own homes. We seek to create opportunities for dignified homeownership and foster well-being by building communities that offer affordable, safe housing.
Los Sueños Master Planned Community
Through the groundbreaking development of the first affordable Master Planned Community on Roatán, we will provide housing and gathering spaces for people across the island to enjoy.
Light Up Life
Through a partnership with mPowerd, maker of Luci Lights, sustainable solar-powered, lightweight lights have been distributed on many places throughout the island, giving communities safety and power through light.
Community Events
Our work spans the length of the island and touches a variety of cultures and communities. By hosting and joining local events, we connect with community members, meet new friends, and build lasting relationships.
